Hey y'all, it's {EL}!! As we said before, it has been so hard to post on our blog because we are so busy, so I have decided to do an extra long post today, just for kicks. {Just wanted to get that out there, and tell y'all so you are aware!!} I wanted to share some personal items I have been using this past month, that I have favorited... A lot. Also, I wanted to put some things on here that I don't necessarily have, but I know are #InStyle where I live. {Dallas}

This is one of the things that I
have in my mind that I need to get,
but never actually do it. Anyways,
these Flash Tattoos, have been my absolute
favorites lately, and I love the metallic
jewelry look!

This is not my pic, but I do own the tassel
necklace on the far right, and I also know that tassels
are super, duper in right now, and they add the perfect
flare to a bland outfit!!

My White Jacks I got at Nordstrom's
for $110.00! (My mom was wearing
them this day, and I loved the colors,
so I just had to take a pic!!)

I have also been a huge fan of the
turquoise Kendra lately, and my brand new
metallic/gold Tory Burch Miller Sandals!!

Again, this is not my pic, but I do own
this same Lilly Pulitzer pullover
{In Lobsah Roll}, and absolutely
adore it!!

Savings Friday!

Hi everyone! Sorry about our big delay on posting on our blog, we have just been super duper busy lately! So today we decided to do another Savings post. As you can see below we are comparing the prices of Jack Rogers and Palm Beach Sandals.

These adorable Jack Rogers are the Classic Platinum sandals, but are 8 dollars more expensive then Palm Beach Sandals with the same look and style.

These Palm Beach sandals are also the Classic Platinum sandals, and have the same look to them and are just as stylish as Jack Rogers. So saving money on things that look quite similar isn't a bad idea, because if you have more money left over then you have more money to buy other things you want!!

Beautycon

           Hello Lovelies!! Its that time of year again when Beautycon is on! This time you don't have to fly anywhere, {If you live in Texas} because its coming to the Big D!! I have never been before, and absolutely love youtube, especially SouthernBelle606!! {Who will be there this year!!} Depending on whether I get lots of goodies, we will be doing a giveaway the day after! Morning Crisis- How To Avoid Waking Up A With Bedhead

Happy Superbowl Sunday!! In honor of "helmet hair," we decided this post would fit the day best.

Most of us, at some point in our lifetime, face the problem known as beadhead. Some of us have small cases of it, others, well, that may effect your whole day! Here's some advice on how to avoid waking up with a birds nest on top of your head.

Use product! This may seem like a bothersome chore, but in fact it actually helps your hair grow faster and (if you buy the right one for your hair, that is), it makes it appear and feel very smooth.  I use this when my hair is wet:

"It's A Ten" Miracle Leave In Spray Conditioner

Wear Your Hair In A Braid. Overnight, keep your hair sustained in one simple braid. Although you may wake up with small waves, it's easier to straighten/curl hair that is consistent in shape and not knotted up.  

Put In A Headband. In the morning, pop an elastic headband on for a minimum of two minutes. Here's why: some hair can take shape overnight, and sometimes it sticks to your forehead. To even out both sides of the part in your hair, use a thick elastic headband. When you take it off, your hair will be even and have the perfect shape!

Basic headbands such as these Goody elastics work well. Also, Lululemon has good thick headbands.

Back to Basics!

...and back to school! Everyone is probably tired from heading back to school or work, so here is something you might enjoy... we are going back to basics!

• Denim jeans. Duh. You already knew that, though.  
• White Tee. 
• Something that everyone needs is a (as Lauren Conrad likes to call it) Little Black Dress! Whether it's long or short, sleeves or sleeve-less, everyone must have an LBD!

• Maxi dress/skirts! OMG. We cannot stress to you enough how crucial maxi dresses and/or skirts are as an item in your closet. Everyone looks good in them, and they also mask the length of your legs. P.S: you can wear them high-waisted, or regular. Look below for inspiration!

• Cardigans! Tanks! Sweaters! (Basic stuff, really). 
• Bags. Bags. And more bags.

• Ooh, sandals. A must for summertime style. 

• Heels. Be it sparkly or a nice plain black, heels belong in every girls closet. (Even if you don't care to wear them). Also: Flats. Same thing goes for them, except the fact that they're super comfy.  

• Vests. Sometimes it's too cold for a tee, but too warm for a jacket. What do you do? Throw on a vest! They are amazingly chic, and comfortable at the same time.

So.... to start out the new year we have a couple trends that are popular right now. These are also trends that we love!

- Tory Burch Miller Sandals are very popular, and look stunning with any outfit. A perfect touch to your look!

             - Another popular trend right now is the brand Patagonia! Their vests and jackets are great for a lazy day, or just to throw on to go hangout with friends!
